A NARRATIVE
Last summer,
on the 29th July 2016, I was swimming in my swimming pool with a
friend in Pobellà. The sky was grey, it would rain but the water was hotter
than normal days and we were tired to play around the streets. There, we heard
some thunders and saw many lightnings, a storm was coming.
One of the
lightnings, fell down in the mountain next to Pobellà and there, broke out a
fire. It started to burn all the trees, plants… And many animals had to go to
another safe place. My friend and I went to search for an adult to call the
firefighters. We found my mum in the garden. We explained that a fire started
to burn in the mountain and then she phoned the firefighters.
One hour
later they arrived with two lorries and one helicopter and they tried to put
out the fire. But it was too difficult because only the helicopter could arrive
to the fire. Firefighters were working all the night and finally, they put out
the fire. All the mountain was burned but he fire didn’t get at the town. I was very scared and sad because many
biodiversity was burned. But there wasn’t anyone injured or killed for the
disaster.
